PROGRAMS:

Adult Vollyball:  Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:30 pm - Many Faces School Gym - September 13 to December 13, 2011 - $35.00 for the session or $4.00 drop-in fee.

Adult Badminton:  Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:30 pm - McIsaac School Gym - September 15 to December 15, 2011 - $35.00 for the session or $4.00 drop-in fee.

Seniors Walking/Zumba:  Tuesday mornings. Please contact the Rec. Office for times and dates - (204) 681-7542.

EVENTS:

Spring Breakout Program:  1 week for children when school is out - crafts, games, movies, swimming, baking, skate, etc.

Terry Fox Run:  Third Sunday of September.

Christmas At The Zoo Family Event:  Family event - once yearly in December.yearly. yearly.    ytyyy

Boo At The Zoo:  Spooktacular event for the kids on Halloween (October 31).

Bust the Winter Blues Festival:  Three day family fun filled outdoor festival. Yearly (February/March). Everything from snowshoe races, pond skating, family dance, trapper’s events, bon fire, and fire works.

GENERAL INTEREST:

Summer In The Parks:  Ages 5 to 8 years old. Yearly (July and August). Games, activities, sports, crafts, and more. For more info, please call (204) 681-7542.

Base Camp-Youth Leadership:  Two one-week sessions.  One in July and one in August. This program explores the unlimited opportunities for youth today by developing unique skills needed for today and the future. For more info, please call (240) 681-7542.

The Joe Brain Children's Petting Zoo:  June to August, free admission. Summer staff organize special event days for children, youth, and families that are either free of charge or a minimal cost (ie Hay Day birthday parties). A youth volunteer program is available for the children and they learn how to work with co-workers. Waiver form must be signed by parent/guardian to approve their child's participation in this program.
